Shanel Winning

An experienced Registered Psychologist with business and psychology qualifications, Shanel's main areas of interest include the use of psychometric testing to assist selection, leadership development and career development; as well as designing, developing and facilitating leadership development programmes.

 

Shanel's Background

Prior to co-founding Winning Eagar in early 2009, Shanel led the Auckland psychometric assessment offering of a large HR consultancy. She has also worked as a consultant for an organisational psychology practice, and for a Sydney-based consultancy that specialised in strategic planning, capability analysis, manager and leadership development, and coaching. She started her career as an M&A Investment Banker, before becoming involved in community services work with high needs foster children and their carers. Shanel is passionate about achieving measurable business outcomes while helping people at the same time.

Jared Eagar

Jared is a Registered Industrial and Organisational Psychologist. His areas of expertise include the use of psychometric assessments for leadership development, selection and career development; the design of assessment centres; critical incident stress management; competency development and integration; job analysis and role design; and the construction and facilitation of learning packages. 

 

Jared's Background

Jared's background is in the New Zealand Army where he has spent a number of years providing psychological input based on sound research into the functions of selection, training and deployment. Outside of the military, Jared has also worked as a commercial consultant, a learning advisor for a public sector organisation and a competitive swim coach. Jared’s passion lies in helping individuals and organisations reach their potential through the use of well researched tools and methodologies.
